One of our Championship-winning Premier League players, Pearce McGuinness, has very kindly offered to donate his services by running an elite coaching clinic for season 2010 for selected members of our Club starting in February for our U8's-U12's.  A former Bushboy, Pearce came back to his roots several years ago after several years as a professional player.  Although a great opportunity for everyone, the academy will target players generally from first division teams that have a desire to play representative football.  Players will be exposed to all aspects that are expected at that higher level.  Programs will be age appropriate and based around skills development and fun.  Aspects that will be covered are; self discipline, attitude, technical ability, fitness, agility and expectations of coaches and trialling situations at the next level.  For this to be successful, total parental support will be expected.  The goal will be to assist those children who have both a desire and the ability to play at the next level to achieve the skills, technical ability and attitude that are essential.
